What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text value that a website asks your browser to store. Cookies can remember a preference, maintain a session, measure use, or support content supplied by another service. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and device identifiers.
The cookie set by this site
The site does not use first-party analytics, advertising, account, login, shopping, form, or comment cookies. It sets only the following first-party cookie:

- Purpose: remembers whether you allowed or declined external content, so the site can apply your choice on later pages.

- Type: necessary preference cookie.
The cookie records only the consent choice. It is not an analytics identifier and is not used to follow you across websites. No embedded provider is contacted merely because this preference cookie is stored.
Cookies from embedded content
Some pages offer media or features from another provider. These embeds are inert by default: they have no remote source and show a local placeholder. They load only after you select Allow external content, either in the consent control or on a placeholder.
Once allowed, those providers may set or read their own cookies and similar storage when an embed loads or when you interact with it. They may also receive your IP address, browser information, and the URL of the page you are viewing.
The relevant providers are:

- Discord chat only when the alternative stream mode is configured.

The privacy-enhanced YouTube domain is intended to limit some storage before you interact with a video, but after you allow the embed it connects to Google and may use cookies or other storage depending on your interaction, account state, settings, and location.
Managing cookies and embeds
You can decline external content without losing access to the rest of the site. Open External content settings in the footer at any time to change your choice. Withdrawing consent unloads active embeds immediately and prevents them from loading again; it cannot undo data that a provider received while its content was active.
You can also inspect, block, or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies or third-party content separately. Blocking or deleting the first-party preference cookie means the consent control will reappear. Blocking third-party storage or embeds may prevent videos, livestreams, or chat from working, but the rest of the site remains available.
Browser controls vary. Consult your browser’s privacy or cookie settings for current instructions. If you clear site data, the external-content preference will also be cleared.
